Big Ben, the first pet brought home by Pet Recovery of Centre County more than 10 years ago
Happy Valley has a pet recovery network 28,000 members strong!
The Facebook group Pet Recovery of Centre County was started by a group of moms who came together to try to save a lost dog and became friends in the process. After Saint Bernard Big Ben (pictured above) was safely back home, Jodie Yarger, Susan Harpster, and Bridget Genua realized there was a widespread need for a pet recovery community. Now, more than 10 years later, having accumulated traps and tracking tools of all kinds, and with the involvement of the thousands of community members who see their posts each day, they have assisted countless families in tracking down lost pets with their trademark compassion and calm.
